What is the meaning of "Social Commerce" and how can you setup environments on the base of drupal + drupalcommerce and other modules. The session will give an overview about the basic principles of Social Commerce as well as a short walkthru to our MyBiz environment and its setup. MyBiz is our upcoming Social-Commerce Portal which is open to anybody to use MyBiz as a Software as a Service (SaaS) model.

Drupal should be your favor engine when you have to bring up a Social Commerce Portal. The stable core and a plenty of extensions is a guarantee for successful business projects. The DrupalCommerce modules allow you to easily enter the commercial path with your site. Simply setup your nodes as products and sell them at the global online internet market. Ubercart was the rocking solution for eCommerce until Drupal7, for now in my mind it is DrupalCommerce.

Your customers can place their orders on your site and the system will assist you while you finish the orders. You have access to administrative tools as well as some analysis. You can extend your products by attributes (e.g. different sizes and colors for products when selling fashion) and handle stock. It is not limited in selling deliverable goods, you can also sell and handle virtual goods like ebooks, downloads, access to nodes, memberships, adverts etc. If you are looking for an environment to run your business internet ideas, we advise Drupal7, DrupalCommerce and other modules. We used them to create our MyBiz-Solution and with that we are able to provide a solution for different business cases. In this session I will give you also an overview about our business orientation and how we use Drupal as a strategic product.
